Jack Conway held its 37th annual Conway Convention on Thursday, February 15 at the Four Points by Sheraton in Norwood, MA. Hundreds of agents, managers, staff and partners attended the fast-moving day full of events.
The theme for the 2024 Convention was “The Future is NOW.” Through a CE class on Buyer's Agency and 2 presentations and panels, experts shared tips to help agents prepare themselves for success in their business for this year and beyond.
The day started with President/COO Al Becker welcoming everyone to the event and introducing Jessica Edgerton from Leading Real Estate Companies of the World to teach a CE class on Buyer's Agency, who gave an informative and interactive presentation.
After lunch, CEO Carol Bulman gave a speech encouraging agents to set new practices for themselves and strive to go the extra mile each day. Four key principles Carol shared were: Commit to a set of actions, Honor every moment, Focus on what you can control, and Find someone to admire.
Then, the main sponsor of the event, Henry Wheelwright from Stablepoint Partners gave an economic and real estate outlook for 2024.
Michael Bulman, VP of Strategy, spoke with Al Becker on strategies to grow your business, sharing how he organizes his touches to his clients to ensure that they feel heard and appreciated. They then welcomed Guaranteed Rate loan officer James Solimini on stage to discuss how a relationship with your loan officer should be a priority for an agent's business.
The final presenter was Mikayla Healy, who thrives in her real estate business through the use of social media. She explained why social media can set you apart from other agents, and announced the new Conway Canva program which allows agents to customize branded graphics for their social media in a few easy steps. In a panel following her presentation, Al asked questions to LeeAnn Cerretani who uses social media to promote her business, and Casey Popkins from Tradewind.
Agents enjoyed networking with the Convention’s sponsors and learning how the businesses could benefit them.
Following lunch, Carol and Al announced the 2023 superstars and awards were presented for top referral agent and office for Relocation, Columbia Title Company and Conway Country Insurance. Carol and Al then presented the Office Tops awards and Rising Stars, before they gave out the final awards of the day for Companywide Tops.
Everyone who attended the 2024 Conway Convention left with major takeaways from all the presentations that will set them up for success in 2024. The event was fun, fast-moving, and full of useful information that agents can use to make a real impact on their business.
