| Outer Cape Health ServicesThe main health care provider for the Outer Cape is Outer Cape Health Services. There are Outer Cape Health centers in Provincetown, Wellfleet, and Harwich. Outer Cape Health Services offers primary care physicans and specialists in cardiology, pulmonary, infectious diseases, HIV care, and hand and shoulder orthopedics. A radiology department operates out of the Provincetown center. Patient exams are sent to radiologists at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Cape Cod Emergency Health CareFalmouth Hospital and Cape Cod Hospital both provide emergency care, but the drive from the Outer Cape to the nearest hospital emergency room can take an hour, without traffic. Each of these emergency centers tracks wait times online. Keep in mind that wait times are affected by time of day, day of the week, and by whether it's the off season or the summer season. Cape Cod Urgent Care CentersCape Cod Healthcare operates urgent care centers in Falmouth and Hyannis, plus at the Stoneman Outpatient Center in Sandwich and the Fontaine Outpatient Center in Harwich.
